Kruba Ariyachart, Wat Saengkaew Phothiyan, Chiang Rai Province
Kruba Ariyachart is a young monk in Wat Saengkaew and he studied alot of dharma from different top monks. The Peacock is the symbol of Kruba Aliyachart and his temple, evident from his signature peacock yant, which earned him the title “The Peacock Prince”. The peacock is also known as the king of birds, and with its beautiful plumage and majestic demeanour, the peacock has featured heavily in the culture and art of Thailand's northern region. The peacock is seen to symbolise wealth and power, a very auspicious bird that brings luck, charisma and influence. Hence, Kruba’s sacred Buddhist artefacts are incorporated with elements of the peacock. This amulet was made and blessed in B.E 2552.
